LIVESTOCK  carriers

COFIWCH DRYWERYN (2).jpg

You can't cover the subject of road transport without the Livestock carriers, as they were the original long distance travellers, with a history going back 100s of years.

COFIWCH DRYWERYN: Set North of Llanrhystud, on the A487, is your modern day drover, Peter Thomas, ex B.R.S. Carmarthen, old friend and long time customer, and his Scania. The roadside sign is in memory of a never forgotten Welsh village at Tryweryn, that was wiped out to make way for Liverpool's water reservoir. Painted in Lascaux, Alder frame, 2016.
